@Kiril has a project he is working on called Sproutz, which aspires to be a community crypto currency backed by real goods - e.g. potatoes, labor, building supplies, energy.
I worked with him to develop a blueprint for this, and the more I looked at it, it looked to me like the fullest expression of it would essentially be a credit union, but modernized and fully embracing crypto. (Embracing does not mean rushing face first without understanding the consequences.)
Kiril and I have done a deep dive on this… Many aspects of a viable architecture have been explored.
Happy to talk about this further. We will be doing pizza in the Poania town park on Thursday. I know you may not be able to make that Nichola. We should definitely take Daniel up on his offer as well. He is a wonderful human and I enjoy his company and the beautiful space that Lara and he have cultivated.
Watching the Nelson Nash video. He’s sharing his story of early on difficulties of trying to get people to understand Infinite Banking. Sounds like me trying to explain The County Fence.
“How do you explain to people when they’ve been indoctrinated their whole lives?” Yuuuup. On point.
The whole point of this platform, and the various things we are doing here, is to walk out of The Matrix, and start assembling new infrastructure based on what we understand to be reality.
Banking, case in point. Humanity will never be free while we allow the incentives of our economy to be dictated by people whose values differ so drastically from the majority of people.
Ideally our economic system would be a proxy for the values of the people it serves.
What people don’t realize is: you don’t need to break any laws in order to re-establish integrity. You don’t need to resist anything, protest anything, or destroy anything. You just need to stop giving your power to it, and get together with some people who are willing to talk about creating something new.
Here we are. And thanks to everyone who is here in these early days.
I agree this is a very exciting time where new thought, and action, are bursting onto the stage. Our discussions today where very interesting, a lot of it new to me.
Bank of Dave is a great movie which brings out the fact that we don’t have to do things the old way. With integrity and generosity we can create our own economy, even if our just starts in small ways.
Thank you to everyone who attended tonight’s meeting. And thanks to Daniel for hosting.
