I love the abundance and diversity; of landscapes, produce and people. The expansive dark skies and rich arts and music scenes.
I love the radio station and the long winding roads.
I love the potential here for a people to organise themselves in a way that supports and enriches both the environment and the community.

A lady brought me to Colorado, specifically Delta County. I have fallen in love with the Western slope, North Fork Valley in particular. The mountains, the rivers and streams, 4 seasons. The air is unbelievably clean. And certainly the people. Big city boy me is still adjusting to a different way of life I’ve forgotten what burgers are.

I love the small town feel, we grew up in the Salt Lake valley that has grown into a mass sea of people. When we moved out here it just quickly became home sweet home. Love how easy it is to drive without traffic stress. We feel blessed to live out here❤️

I love the great trio of mountains that we live under in Paonia. I feel in conversation with the land here, listening and watching the seasons, the sunsets, the wild turkeys and deer. I love the people I find here. I recorded the Land Use Code hearing in 2023 and I saw so many people stand up to defend their right to be in service to the land, as they see fit, without interference. I think the connection between land and people that is felt here is a gem worth sharing, worth encouraging more people to adopt, where ever they are.
