What's actually going on in the world?

I’ve followed Catherine Austin Fitts’ work for a couple years now and I find her to be a person with her head very firmly on her shoulders. This talk covers a lot of territory, but she has the receipts for all this stuff.

Let’s just say:

  1. Can we have an honest conversation about climate change until we acknowledge the extent to which we are already performing weather modification, and what effect that is having?
  2. Can we have an honest conversation about the economy until we acknowledge what level of technological advancement we are actually at?
  3. If we’re not basing our policy discussion on reality, then what is it based on?

You can find an overview of Catherine’s world view here:

Tucker is having more and more people that I listen to on his show. I don’t know what to think about that.

Tucker has a complicated set of interests and alliances. He’s a CIA asset - even Putin called him out on it. He’s got a history of shilling for political agendas - search for “Jon Stewart Crossfire” for the episode that sunk his ship. Today he says he’s reformed and has had his come to Jesus moment.

What I see is he’s basically rebranded to target the right. I think he’s been useful in surfacing some good quality information, but he also sometimes descends into hyperbole, or stating narratives as though they’re obvious when he has thin evidence to support.

So anyway. I appreciate the episode for the quality of information, without any special deference to Tucker’s credibility or lack thereof. Tucker’s just the guy asking the questions and running the cameras here, and he did a good job at that.

Catherine had another interview, this time with Jimmy Dore.

Catherine mentions her online book in which she documents the ways in which the American economy relies upon war and crime to continue functioning. Here is a link:
