What's going on with Tina Peters?

New Story

Tina Peters remains wrongfully imprisoned due to politically motivated charges brought against her in Colorado. This is not just a state case—federal intervention is not only possible but necessary. Under the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution (Article VI, Clause 2) and the Fourteenth Amendment (Section 1, Clause 2), the state of Colorado has no jurisdiction over this case. Furthermore, a recent executive order, Ending the Weaponization of the Federal Government, provides the legal framework to challenge this egregious conviction and secure justice for Tina Peters.

Tina Peters, as a duly elected county clerk, took an oath to uphold the United States Constitution. She fulfilled her federal duty to preserve election records, acting in full compliance with federal law. Because of this, she is protected under the Supremacy Clause, making Colorado’s prosecution and sentencing wholly unconstitutional. The state has blatantly overstepped its authority, and its verdict and punishment must be nullified.

The recent executive order directly confronts the abuse of power by government agencies and their unjust persecution of political opponents. It mandates a full review of cases where individuals have been targeted for exposing corruption or defending constitutional principles. The case of Tina Peters is one of the most blatant examples of such tyranny.

Tina Peters courageously exposed the vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems, proving that these systems were connected to the internet and that critical election records had been erased. Instead of being honored for her integrity and dedication to election security, she was persecuted, falsely charged with identity theft, and sentenced to an outrageous nine-year prison term. This punishment was never about justice—it was a calculated move to silence a truth-teller and instill fear in others who might stand up against corruption.

This executive order, in conjunction with the supremacy clause, serves as a crucial tool to undo the injustice inflicted upon whistleblowers like Tina Peters. If her case is rightfully transferred to the federal courts, as required under the Supremacy Clause, a presidential pardon could and should be granted. This action would not only correct the grave injustice inflicted upon Tina Peters but also affirm that no state has the authority to prosecute individuals for fulfilling their constitutional obligations.

Tina Peters’ case is a battle for justice, integrity, and the fundamental rights of every American. Political persecution cannot be allowed to stand. The time for action is now—her case must be overturned, and those responsible for this abuse of power must be held accountable. Justice must prevail, and the principle of protecting those who expose corruption must be upheld at the highest levels of government.

I did not know much about this case. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Is there an organization that is supporting her?

Yes, there are several organizations and individual supporting her. The one that comes off the top of my head is frankspeech.com. The founder is Mike Lindell, the my pillow guy. Tina had a platform there called the truth matters with Tina peters.
Thank you for your response. I’m excited about the Delta Fence❤️blessings

This is from my personal journal on 2024-10-03. In case anyone was wondering how I feel about the situation.

Wow. I’m astounded by the woke drama fest coming from this judge’s mouth. What happened to professional decorum?

He’s saying that a county recorder has no right to investigate possible fraud in the vote recording? Isn’t that her job?

Does anyone address the actual evidence that she’s bringing forward? No, they just lambaste her and smear her on procedural mistakes.

He is lambasting her for having a conversation she’s not supposed to… With a camera crew there to record it? Isn’t that law designed to prevent authorities from colluding to fix outcomes? If she were acting in bad faith do you think she would have brought a camera crew?

“You are a charlatan, and you cannot help but lie as easy as it is for you to breathe.” Who talks like this? Is this some kind of woke teenager wearing the robe? Is his mom going to pick him up in a minivan after the trial?

He compares her behavior to physical violence and says it’s as bad or worse. What a drama queen.

And then continues to opine about his own deliberation process, which he claims is supremely fair. Can we get a psychologist in the room to tell us what kind of person moves to defend that which was not under attack?

“Prison is where we send folks who are a danger to all of us. Whether it is by the pen or by the sword…” Did this judge just openly say that speech is a crime worthy of imprisonment? I’m sorry? Do we find ourselves in North Korea?

“The damage you caused this community” You mean raising doubts about election integrity?

Julian Assaunge just got out of prison for the crime of doing his job: journalism. He spoke truths that the establishment would like to have kept hidden. I see nothing different happening here. She’s being punished to send a message to others: Don’t question election integrity.

When we have an establishment that ruthlessly punishes anyone who disagrees with them, does that send the signal of legitimate democratic process? Does that send the signal that nothing wrong happened here, election integrity is assured?

It sends a clear signal to me. We have a judge bought and paid for who’s doing the bidding of his corporate masters. I hope Tina appeals this shit and reveals this for the fraud that it is.

:100:agree! We went to some of her trial, judge Barrette wouldn’t even let her lawyers enter the damming evidence she had, he’s a bully that should be removed and her case reopened. Tina caught them cheating in the Mesa County election PERIOD. This case proves the corruption of our justice system. Money can’t buy some people, truth, strength and brave patriotism will win because God is in control. Her team has appealed and Tina will come out of jail stronger, she’s a fighter, a hero in my book and I don’t think they’ll get away with nearly destroying her life to cover their crimes.
Our Freedom Friends group started around Tina’s fight. And we will keep supporting her because Truth matters.
This platform rocks!

Tina Peters’ Deteriorating Condition Demands Urgent DOJ Action

Tina Peters, the former Mesa County Clerk unjustly convicted in a bogus election security case, continues to languish in a Colorado prison as her health rapidly declines. The Trump Justice Department has signaled interest in her case, announcing it will investigate her prosecution for “abuses of the criminal justice process” under the “End Government Weaponization” law. The DOJ has already filed a statement of interest to involve itself in her appeal, citing concerns over the “exceptionally lengthy sentence” of nine years and clear First Amendment violations. Yet, despite this promising step, the pace of federal action remains frustratingly slow—too slow for a woman whose physical and mental well-being is crumbling under the strain of incarceration.

According to Peters’ legal team, her condition is dire. The prison food lacks adequate nutrition and deviates sharply from her usual diet, exacerbating her health issues. Beyond that, she has faced targeted attacks within the jail, threats of solitary confinement, and other inhumane treatment that compounds the injustice of her wrongful conviction. “While incarcerated, Tina Peters has been subjected to inhumane treatment that compounds the injustice of her wrongful conviction,” her supporters affirm, echoing sentiments found in posts on X. Her rapid deterioration demands immediate attention—not just sympathy, but decisive intervention.

Peters’ case stems from her efforts to preserve election records during a 2020 federal election, a duty mandated under federal law. As Mesa County Clerk, she allowed an authorized individual to access voting equipment in 2021 to safeguard data before a software update ordered by Colorado’s Secretary of State—an update that risked erasing critical evidence. Her actions, tied to exposing election fraud, led to sensitive voting system information being shared online, resulting in her conviction on seven counts, including four felonies, by a biased state court in Mesa County. Colorado’s Democratic officials call it misconduct, but Peters and her allies know she was targeted for upholding her oath, making her a political prisoner in a weaponized justice system.

The DOJ’s involvement offers hope, but it must go further—and faster. The department should not merely review her case; it should press forward by designating Peters a federal witness, given her actions were tied to a federal election. Her prosecution is an overreach by state authorities who punished her for fulfilling her federal duty to preserve election records. This is not just a state matter—it’s a case with national implications that belongs in the higher federal courts. The DOJ must urge federal judges to take jurisdiction, ensuring Peters’ appeal is handled outside Colorado’s corrupt state system, which is tainted by political bias.

Democratic officials have dug in their heels against any federal intervention. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, a gubernatorial candidate, has urged a federal court to reject the DOJ’s statement of interest, labeling it a “grotesque attempt to weaponize the rule of law.” Senator Michael Bennet, also reportedly eyeing a run for governor, has dismissed any notion of a deal to free Peters. Their resistance only proves her prosecution was politically motivated—a truth the DOJ must thoroughly investigate and act upon decisively.

Time is running out for Tina Peters. Her deteriorating health is a stark reminder that justice delayed is justice denied. The Department of Justice must escalate its efforts: continue pressing into her case, secure her status as a federal witness, and push for her appeal to be heard in federal courts. This is not just about one woman—it’s about ensuring that those who uphold their federal duties in election oversight are not crushed by state-level vendettas. The DOJ has the tools and the mandate under the “End Government Weaponization” law to act. It must do so now, before it’s too late.

Repost this to his @GovofCO account.

Shocking. Scary. I am educating myself.

The American Rights Alliance (ARA), a nonprofit legal advocacy group, has filed an amicus curiae brief in support of Peters…

Her legal team argues that her actions were not only lawful but mandated by her duties under federal law to preserve election records.

I don’t think the prosecution (or judge) were confused about this. I think the case so far is more a testament that Dominion, Diebold, and other voting machine providers have a long, observable history of suing into the pavement anyone who dares question the integrity of electronic voting machines. And a large body of politicians and judiciary who have a vested interest in that corruption continuing, because that’s how they and their friends get elected.

This is not a left-right issue. This is an issue with election integrity, and with disenfranchisement (of everybody). If it’s a crime for the county clerk to take records in order to ensure election integrity, then we’re living in bizarro land. Up is down and left is right. Good is evil and the truth is a lie. I don’t want to live in bizarro land, so I hope we get this fixed.
